About us

Hi, my name is Eric, and I am the designer, artist, and fabricator behind Blackbird Designworks, LLC. I am a lifelong resident of Southwest Washington and proud parent of two. My background includes woodworking in a variety of fields, including constructing pole barns, building pipe organs and designing aircraft furniture. Most recently, I have worked in the fishing industry, as a design engineer developing fishing rods.

I began Blackbird because I enjoy the ability to design AND build my creations. My diverse work background informs my approach and decision-making process. As a one-person company, I look forward to tackling all aspects of challenging, custom projects.
